Married to Amanda.
Beloved son of Bob and Judy; best friend to brother Jim and wife Kim; adored
uncle to Kaleigh, Micah and Nathan; loved nephew to his Uncle Bobby.
Chris was a soldier inside and out. He had been active duty and got out to
achieve a lifelong dream of getting a degree. Attended LSU and received BS in
ISDS. Married the love of his life, Amanda, in 2002. When we voiced
our concerns about him being sent to Iraq his comment was "who's son would I
send in his place?" Chris knew the risks, and he felt so deeply for his
men that he would do whatever was necessary to protect them. He was
respected by all who knew him for his love of life, his great sense of humor,
and his devotion to family and friends. The world is a little darker
because he is gone. But he stays alive in our hearts and in the memories we
share.
