Sergeant Ray A. Toups III - US ARMY
Left - MSG Toups and 2LT Daniel Gaskins (this was prior to receiving his
commission). We are old friends who went to Iraq with
two different units. We were able to get together for this picture just
before the one mission that we went on together.
Right - MSG Toups and MG Bennett Landrineau, the Adjutant General for the
Louisiana National Guard.
This was taken at Ft. Belvoir, VA, shortly after my return from Baghdad.
Grew up in Napoleonville and attended Nichols State before choosing to go on
active duty. Spent 11 years ('93-'04) as an active duty member of the Louisiana
National Guard before accepting a transfer to the nation's capital. Now
assigned to the National Guard Bureau; the national headquarters of the U.S.
Army National Guard.
